Affiliate Disclosure
Short version: 420Grades earns a commission when you click some product links and buy from the retailer. The commission does not change the price you pay, and it does not buy a rating, grade or positive description. We do not sell the products, test them ourselves or handle your order.
Last updated: November 5, 2026. This disclosure is written to be clear before you click, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and affiliate relationships (16 CFR Part 255).
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link carries a tracking identifier. If you click it and complete a purchase, the retailer or affiliate network records that the visit came from 420Grades and pays us a percentage of the sale. The payment comes from the retailer’s margin, not from you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the retailer directly.
Where you will see affiliate links
- “Buy product” buttons on product listings. These go to an affiliate network or directly to the brand.
- Brand website links in some profiles and directory entries.
- Some outbound links in buying guides and comparison tables.
Not every outbound link is an affiliate link. Links to statutes, regulators, peer-reviewed research and our own pages are not monetised.
How to tell
Hover over a link before you click. If the destination is an affiliate network or a retailer with a tracking parameter, it is probably monetised. “Buy product” buttons on 420Grades are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave 420grades.com and the retailer’s or network’s terms and privacy policy apply.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, ship, store or fulfil products.
- We do not process payments or receive your card or bank details.
- We do not test products in a laboratory or claim first-party test results.
- We do not publish star ratings, scores or grades.
- We do not accept payment for a positive rating, grade or review.
- We do not let a commission rate decide whether a factual description is accurate.
Because we do not publish ratings or grades, there is no score for a brand to buy. A listing is a description of what the brand says it sells, not an endorsement.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on 420Grades are captured when a listing is imported or updated. They can be out of date. The retailer’s current page is the authoritative price, and the retailer decides availability, shipping, taxes and returns. Always check the total price and the shipping rules before you pay.
Cookies and tracking
The retailer or affiliate network may set a cookie after you click, so it can attribute the sale. That cookie is controlled by the third party. Our Privacy Policy explains what 420Grades itself collects and how to block cookies.
Editorial independence
Our Editorial Policy explains how we research pages and handle corrections. In short: a brand profile uses facts the brand publishes, with source links; cannabinoid and legal pages cite primary sources; unverified brands are marked and excluded from search until verified. Commission does not change those rules.
Questions
If a link is unclear, or you want to know whether a specific relationship is commercial, email 420Grades@gmail.com with the page URL. We will tell you what we can disclose without breaching a commercial confidence. See also our Terms of Use and Contact page.
