Compare hemp and CBD brands before you buy
420Grades profiles hemp and CBD companies from their own websites, explains what each cannabinoid does, and points you to the lab and legality details that matter. We do not sell products, ship orders, or publish star ratings.

Pick a cannabinoid
Each guide covers what the compound is, what the evidence says, how it is tested, and where it stands legally.
CBD
Effects, drug interactions, dosing and what the clinical evidence actually supports.
Non-intoxicatingCBG
What CBG does, how it is studied, and why product claims often run ahead of the data.
Mildly intoxicatingCBN
The sleep claims, the evidence behind them, and what a label should disclose.
IntoxicatingDelta-9 THC
The benchmark cannabinoid: hemp limits, state law and the 2026 total-THC rule.
Intoxicating when heatedTHCA
Why raw THCA is not THC, how the total-THC formula works, and what changes in December 2026.
IntoxicatingDelta-8 THC
Semi-synthetic, milder than delta-9, and legally fragile. The testing red flags to know.
IntoxicatingHHC
What HHC is, why it is losing federal hemp status in November 2026, and the safety gaps.
High-potencyTHCP
The potency claims, the receptor data, and why dose accuracy matters more here.
Federal rules are changing
The 2026 hemp law, in plain English
Two dates matter. On November 12, 2026, the amended definition removes HHC, THCO and other synthetically modified cannabinoids from federal hemp. On December 11, 2026, hemp is measured by total THC — delta-9 plus THCA after decarboxylation — at 0.3% on a dry weight basis, with a 0.4 mg total-THC cap per finished container.
State law is separate and often stricter. A product that is legal where you live today can be restricted next month, and the federal change does not override state bans.

Same atoms, different arrangement: potency, drug-test risk and the December 2026 rule.

The chemistry is the same. The legal category, testing and enforcement are not.

How the directory works
What 420Grades is — and is not
We profile, we do not sell
Every brand page is built from the company’s own website and public information. There is no checkout here, no inventory and no shipping.
We do not rank or grade
We publish no star ratings and take no payment for placement. A listing means a company operates; it is not an endorsement.
We show our sources
Guides cite primary regulations and published research. If something is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
Check your state before you buy
Hemp rules are set at both federal and state level. Delta-8, THCA flower and high-potency products are treated differently depending on where you are — and the federal position changes on December 11, 2026.
